We can't recall ever seeing so much loam at a rock run! The VFTR crew put on an outstanding event today and their hard work in what can be some really tough terrain showed. Great trail combined with a route sheet that you had better pay attention to, had everyone smiling at the end of this challenging run. It was Mike Lafferty on top at end, and who will, once more,have his name inscribed on that infamous jug.
Today we shot first near the out check of the first section - we didn't get the entire field there as we had to get over to the Catawissa to shoot there, but we did get up into the low 40's. Meanwhile we also caught the entire field coming through the Moon Rocks section, and then the entire field again near the Catawissa. We picked up again in the afternoon Grass Track, catching almost the entire field there, and then finally capturing all the A/AA's in their section coming into their gas available at the cable plant.
