We don't have our Highlights video ready to go yet, but while we wait, here's a quick peek at the Muddobbers Enduro -
The final event of the National Enduro Series was hosted by the Muddobbers Motorcycle Club and was a great race to close out the season. The race began under overcast skies, but like the racing action, got better as they day progressed. Riders had to bring their log crossing game to do well, and more than a few had a little water in their boots by the end of the day. Add in some rocks and plenty of elavation changes and it all added up to a great event. At the end of the day KTM teammates both Lafferty (22A) and Bobbitt (21A) both did what they had to do - Mike Lafferty won the event and Russell Bobbitt came in 2nd, winning the series championship by a single point over Lafferty. Nick Fahringer (27A) rode his Husaberg to a 3rd place finish, while Brad Bakken (26A) finished 4th on a KTM. Jeff Mellik (24A) pulled off his best finish of the year riding his Yamaha to a 5th place finish.
Our filming today started out by capturing almost everyone near the end of section 1, then heading over to the stream crossing and rock garden of section 2 we captured the the whole field coming through. We then captured nearly the whole field in section 3's woods and logs and then again in the fields of section 5. We left 5 early to make the trip back into section 6 where we had a second camera in there for some of the riders - look for some of you to be in the section 6 clips twice, up through about row 22.
